Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old and have had their rabies vaccination.
Puppies generally get a series of distemper vaccinations at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks and sometimes 18 weeks.
Puppies should have had at least 2 of the DHL2PP distemper vaccinations before starting class.
Through consistent reinforcement and praise, your dog will be introduced to the basic commands of sit, down, come, stay, watch, leave it, settle and learn loose leash walking. This course also addresses common problem areas such as potty training, chewing, biting, digging and barking. Social and handling skills learned at a young age helps puppies grow into well-adjusted adults in new situations. The bond of trust and understanding will last a lifetime.

Adult Dog Obedience – Basic I
Train your dog in real life situations and your dog becomes reliable in real life situations. By the end of the class many dogs have learned basic commands such as sit, down, come, stay, focus, leave it, settle and loose leash walking. This class also addresses common problem areas such as potty training, chewing, biting, digging and barking. Consistent training at home will reinforce the skills they have learned in class.

Jason is an ABC (Animal Behavior College) certified dog trainer. He uses the latest in positive motivational techniques, to make training enjoyable for both you and your puppy/adult dog.
Jason believes and has said that “All dogs should have some kind of training. The earlier in its life the better (puppy training can begin as early as 8 weeks). Training helps open communication and strengthen the bond between the dog and you.”
