About REBA

Redding Easton Basketball Association (REBA) is pleased to offer a competitive, educational, and enjoyable basketball experience for boys and girls in grades 4 through 8 from Redding and Easton
Our mission is to enhance basketball skills while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong passion for the game.
REBA is a volunteer led organization comprised of parents and Joel Barlow High School basketball coaches. REBA partners with the Easton Community Center for administration of the program.

General Information

  • REBA offers players an opportunity to play town-based travel basketball by playing in the Fairfield County Basketball League (grades 5 through 8) of the Milford Basketball League for grade 4.
  • Town-based travel basketball is a pathway to the high school game where players will likely play these same towns.
  • The varsity boys and the varsity girls coaches are part of the REBA committee and work with the players to prepare them for high school.

Clinics

  • REBA offers clinics so that players can improve skills and to prepare for the upcoming season. Enrollment is necessary to attend skills training. Skills training is open to all players interested in basketball.

Player evaluations

  • Player evaluations are performed by independent staff who observe and rank players based on dribbling, shooting and athleticism. The evaluations are used in determining the composition of teams.
  • REBA requires attendance at player evaluations.

Basketball Season

  • Practices will begin around the beginning of November.
  • Games begin in early December and run through March.
  • Grades 5 through 8 participate in the Fairfield County Basketball League.
  • Games are typically on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
  • Away games are played in towns throughout Fairfield County
